You can have up to four Share accounts and use them as a simple way to manage your savings. All members have a Share 1 account when they join us and can choose to open further Share accounts at any time, up to the limit of four.

We don’t have a fixed interest rate for Share Accounts. Instead, we pay a dividend at the end of the financial year, depending on the size of any operating surplus. Find out more about our Dividends here. 

If you have a loan, your savings in your Share 1 account will be held as collateral against your loan, but you can still access any savings in your other Share accounts.

The maximum savings deposit a member can have with us is £120,000.
