The prices for weekly tickets are:
- CitySaver - £27.00
- NetworkSaver - £30.60
So if you buy a weekly ticket every week for a year, you are spending £1,404 a year on CitySaver and £1,591.20 a year with NetworkSaver. This is based on 52 weekly tickets being purchased.

Turning Borrowers into Savers at Wave Community Bank
To benefit from this discount you need to:
- Be a Wave Community Bank Member. If you aren’t a member already, you can join us by clicking on the button at the top of the page. It’ll cost you a one off £5 membership fee and you need to deposit least £1 to open up your savings account.
- Have a B&H Buses Keycard. If you don’t have one – you can order online at www.buses.co.uk.
Ways to Pay:
You can pay for your Annual Bus Ticket two ways:
- You can pay the discounted price in one go. To arrange your annual ticket, send an email to info@wavecb.org.uk or call us on 0300 303 3188 . Please ensure you have the money available in your savings account with us to cover the full cost of the ticket.
- If you cannot afford to pay upfront, then you can apply for a loan to cover the cost. You can apply for a bus ticket loan through our usual loan application process – click on the button at the top of the page.
PLEASE BE AWARE: Your annual pass may take up to 5 days to be processed. The minimum time to process is 2 days.
PLEASE NOTE: Your credit score will be adversely affected if you are late or fail to keep up with payments on a loan.
Loan Terms & Conditions
The actual interest rates and repayment amounts may vary subject to loan amount and status.
We will need proof of your income including any wages, self-employment income and benefits. Each loan application is assessed on an individual basis and takes into consideration a variety of factors including the affordability of the loan, previous savings and borrowing patterns with the Community Bank, credit history and so on. We will carry out a credit check as part of the loan application process.
If you require an AN1 as security for your loan the rate may be increased by an additional 1% APR

Loan Repayments
You will be asked to make repayments by direct debit or through a payroll scheme. Repayments can be made in line with how you receive your income – weekly or monthly.
All our loans have a savings element to the repayments and these savings are held as collateral against outstanding loan balances. If you miss a repayment Wave Community Bank reserves the right to deduct the repayment from your savings.
If your circumstances change and you have problems meeting your repayments, please contact our credit control department. Failure to meet repayments could have a serious effect on your credit report.
All loans provided by Wave Community Bank are subject to status and our lending policy. Applicants must be aged over 18.
Wave Community Bank reserves the right to decline any application or offer a loan that differs from our terms.
Refunds
Refunds of SAVER tickets purchased on ”the key” on tickets of twelve months’ duration will be considered by Brighton & Hove Bus Company, upon written request confirming the key smartcard number, by email to thekey@buses.co.uk. The amount refunded will be calculated based on the length of validity left on the ticket at the date the ticket is terminated. Part or whole weeks of use will be charged at the prevailing price of the weekly, monthly or three-monthly SAVER ticket as appropriate and all refunds are subject to a £10 administration charge. The remainder will be refunded.
