John is a qualified accountant (ACMA) whose career was in finance within manufacturing industries both in the UK and Europe. His career culminated as Finance Director and part owner of a small international engineering business.
Since retiring in 2011 he has did voluntary work for a year in Tanzania and then Bangladesh. He now volunteers with various charities and Non Profits based in the UK, He lives in Kent after moving from Shropshire in 2018.
John joined Kent Savers CU's Board in 2018 after being on the Board of Fairshare CU in Shropshire from 2014-2018 and now after the merger with Wave CB has been invited to join their Board.
