Our History
Wave Community Bank started as East Brighton Credit Union in 2000, expanding to cover the whole of Brighton and Hove and East Sussex, becoming East Sussex Credit Union in 2008. It changed name to Wave Community Bank in October 2021. Our common bond then grew in March 2022 so we can serve members in Kent and Medway, and again in 2024 to include the London Borough of Bexley. Our social mission has always been fundamental to our work. You can download our Social Impact Report here
PrizeSaver accounts are savings accounts which are entered into monthly prize draws, where every month you could win a top prize of £5,000 or one of twenty smaller prizes of £20. You are entered into this prize draw simply for saving money in your PrizeSaver account and it doesn’t cost you a penny!
For every £1 you save in your PrizeSaver account you have one entry into the draw, up to a maximum of 200 entries per account. This maximum amount applies regardless of whether you have more than £200 in your PrizeSaver account.
