Join Our Free Webinars During Talk Money Week 2025

Wave Community Bank is offering a free 30-minute webinar this Talk Money Week to help local residents and employers understand the dangers of loan sharks and how to protect themselves and their community.

Loan sharks are illegal lenders who may appear helpful at first—but their loans come with extortionate interest rates, no paperwork, and serious threats or violence if repayments aren’t met. This webinar, delivered in partnership with the Illegal Money Lending Team (IMLT), provides practical guidance to recognise and respond to illegal money lending.
