We have a new partner in Kent! Meet Martello Building Consultancy – a company making a difference in their local community.
Since expanding our common bond to include Kent & Medway in April 2022, we have been looking to partner with companies just like Martello. We are confident that our Chorus Workplace Savings Scheme will support Martello’s staff during the current harsh economic climate.
Martello have provided a great service to their local community in Folkestone and surrounding areas since establishing in 2011. They have commendably concentrated on working with Housing Associations to build more low-cost social housing accommodations for people in need of a home, such as English Rural, Croydon Churches Housing Associations. They have also been involved in the development of care centres, notably in collaboration with the charity, Field Lane, which provides services to vulnerable families – many of whom are homeless. It is because of Martello’s services that many people in vulnerable situations were helped.
Within Folkestone too, Martello’s work has had a significant positive impact. Working with Folkestone & Hythe District Council, Martello designed a walkway through Payer’s Park with an outdoor gym and school classroom and even a big slide for kids. The result is a much more popular park for the local community to enjoy. Similarly, Martello designed improvements for Hythe Swimming Pool which is now used by local schools to give swimming lessons.
Chorus serves to support local workers and businesses which support our local community. We are confident that our staff financial wellbeing scheme will assist staff at Martello through difficult economic times acting as a safety net to rely on.
