May Half Term is almost upon us and as many of us continue to struggle financially with the increasing cost of living, holidays like this can bring a sense of dread for many families.
If you follow us on social media, you’ll no doubt notice that we share money-saving tips throughout the year and we’ve included some ideas on how you can save money over the May Half Term. These tips include ideas on how to plan free activities with the kids, save money on days out in addition to resources on how to plan ahead and budget for holidays.
As the weather is getting a bit warmer, you can hopefully get outside and enjoy some local walks, one of our favourite things to do this time of year is go foraging which you can do to help teach your children about plants and hopefully do some cooking with them.
If you do find that you’re struggling to help pay for the basics then there are agencies that you can approach for help. If you’re wanting money to pay for family needs like clothes, bedroom furniture or baby buggies, then have a look at our Ethical Family Saver Loan which helps you to make your loan repayments via your Child Benefit.
