We’re all experiencing the cost of our household shopping going up and many of us are cutting back on Christmas shopping this year but what about our stockings?
Instead of spending money on short-lived stocking fillers how about starting a new tradition and teach your children about the history of stockings by including an orange or small bag of chocolate coins in remembrance of St Nicholas?
You could also include a story about Christmas Eve that you could download for free from the internet, recycle old keys and make up your own mugs of hot chocolate for the family to enjoy this Christmas Eve.
