On Sunday 9 March 2025, the UK will observe the COVID-19 Day of Reflection, a time to remember, reflect, and pay tribute to those who lost their lives during the pandemic and the many who made sacrifices to support their communities.
At Wave Community Bank, we know how deeply the pandemic impacted people’s lives—financially, emotionally, and socially. It was a time of uncertainty, but also of resilience and kindness, as neighbours, frontline workers, and volunteers came together to help one another.
This day offers an opportunity to pause and remember—whether by joining a community event, lighting a candle, or simply taking a moment of quiet reflection.
