This International Nurses Day, Wave Community Bank is proud to support nursing staff across University Hospitals Sussex by providing confidential, one-to-one financial wellbeing support.
Our Financial Wellbeing Support Officer, Tracy Cox-Horton, is visiting NHS sites offering friendly, practical money guidance for staff who may be feeling the pressure of rising living costs.
Whether it’s help with budgeting, building up savings, understanding credit options, or dealing with financial stress, Tracy is available to listen and support staff in a way that’s understanding, realistic, and free from judgment.
“It’s a privilege to spend time with nurses and NHS workers during Nurses Week,” said Tracy. “The pressures of shift work, rising costs, and limited time can make money management difficult. I’m here to make things a bit easier—offering advice, support, and solutions tailored to each person’s needs.”
Tracy works in partnership with University Hospitals Sussex through Wave’s Chorus payroll savings and loans scheme, making it easy for staff to save or borrow directly through their wages. It’s a simple and accessible way to manage money that puts people in control.
