We hope that any financial stress can be reduced by providing the option of an alternative loan source with reduced APR which also encourages positive financial management through a controlled savings scheme.’

Money worries can often impact on how people perform at work. Workplace Savings Schemes are a great staff perk and by offering this scheme to their staff, Michelmersh are giving them an opportunity to save for the future easily, so they can build financial resilience to help them face whatever challenges life brings.

Ann Hickey, CEO of East Sussex Credit Union said:

‘The Workplace Savings Scheme is an opportunity for staff to save directly from their salary each month into their credit union account. Many members who save with us this way, say that they don’t even notice the savings going out. The scheme makes saving and repaying loans with us effortless for our members.’
