Budgeting this time of year can be even harder to stick to as we’re looking for money to spend on things that we wouldn’t normally buy such as extra food for the family, presents, decorations, trees etc. However it can make a difference to even the smallest of budgets if we use some budgeting skills.
As Wave Community Bank is here to support local people to be in control of their finances, we have created some budgeting tools to help you. They are contained in the Wave Money Guide which you can download here and they can be used to fill in your income and outgoings either weekly or monthly and if you are thinking of borrowing any money over the Christmas period, you will be in a much better position to know how much you can afford to pay back. And don’t forget when you take out a loan with us at Wave Community Bank, you will also start your savings plan which means that as well as helping to pay for Christmas this year, you will also have money to pay for Christmas next year from your savings.
