Wave Community Bank would like to say thank you to the National Lottery for funding us so that we can help people with managing their money and provide basic banking services to those that would otherwise be excluded.
Wave Community Bank are joining thousands of other organisations on Friday 19th November 2021 to say a massive collective ‘thank you’ to The National Lottery players for their colossal contribution to good causes across the UK.
Each of the organisations helps to change lives every day and are supported by the National Lottery.
It’s not easy for everyone to open a bank account. However as it’s now a requirement to be able to receive Universal Credit, it’s more important than ever for everyone to be able to access financial services.
For people that have a poor credit history, don’t have a permanent address or don’t have photo ID, opening a bank account can be difficult – if not impossible – which is why Wave Community Bank work to help the ‘unbanked’ access financial services which we did with the help of the National Lottery.
By working with partner organisations, we have made it possible to help vulnerable people access financial services and if you know anyone that is excluded from accessing banking services please get in touch with us as we can help provide a basic bank account for those that need it.
