On Saturday 9th August 2025, we were delighted to attend the Big Purple Funfest at Westin Green in Brighton, a vibrant community celebration organised by the Purple Productions team. Purple Productions is part of the Grace Eyre Foundation, an inspiring organisation that creates events for and by adults with learning disabilities and autistic people.
It was a truly fantastic day – filled with live music, comedy, art, dance, games, delicious food and drink, and plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy. To make things even better, the sun was shining brightly over Brighton, making it the perfect August Saturday.
As one of the event sponsors, Wave Community Bank was proud to support this special day. Our sponsorship went towards helping provide a platform for talented performers who might not otherwise have the chance to showcase their skills. Seeing the joy, energy, and creativity on display reminded us just how important it is to celebrate and uplift our whole community.
We are especially proud to partner with the Grace Eyre Foundation, who do incredible work in supporting people with learning disabilities and autistic people to live the lives they want. Grace Eyre is also one of our valued partners in our Workplace Savings Scheme – Chorus.
