We were proud to see our Financial Wellbeing Support Officer – known fondly by many as Money Tracy – representing Wave Community Bank at the opening and blessing of the new Memorial Garden at Southlands Hospital earlier today.
The garden has been created as a tranquil space where staff can reflect and remember those who have passed. It’s a beautiful tribute to the people who were part of the Southlands community, and the opening ceremony was filled with heartfelt moments and shared memories.
Money Tracy (aka Tracy Cox-Horton) was invited to attend the ceremony as part of her ongoing work supporting NHS staff with financial wellbeing. Tracy is a familiar and friendly face University Hospitals Sussex NHS Trust, providing compassionate, confidential support to those facing financial stress – whether it’s help with budgeting, saving, or finding ethical borrowing solutions.

“Events like this are a powerful reminder of the importance of community – and that includes financial wellbeing as well as emotional support,” said Tracy. “It was an honour to be invited and a privilege to stand alongside NHS staff and families on such a meaningful day.”
Thank you to everyone at Southlands Hospital for your warm welcome – and for all the incredible work you do.
