Wave Community Bank have teamed up with the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) to help improve the financial wellbeing at work for thousands of people across the South East of England.
As part of this new initiative Wave and MaPS will be hosting a joint Webinar on 11th June (between 12noon and 1pm) where they will be talking to employers about the importance of financial wellbeing and providing some practical advice on steps employer can take to improve the financial wellbeing of their staff.
With 94% of UK employees admitting to worrying about money and, of these, 77% say that money worries impact them at work. (Research from Close Brothers, The Financial Wellbeing Index (2019)) it’s important now more than ever for businesses, local authorities and charities to actively take part in this initiative to reduce the time off work and become more financially sustainable.
