We are delighted to begin a partnership with a much-valued local charity.
We are thrilled that Martlets is confirmed as our newest employer partner. Martlets provides life-changing hospice care to our local community, and we are keen to help them support their team through the rising cost-of-living with our free staff financial wellbeing scheme, Chorus.
For more than 25 years, Martlets has provided care and support to people facing dying, death and bereavement in Brighton & Hove, the Deans and Havens. They are currently rebuilding their hospice home in Hove so that even more people can access specialist end-of-life care.
Wave will also be providing staff support to employees of Martlets Care, the home care agency which employs Care Professionals to support people to live independently. All profits from Martlets Care go to Martlets Hospice; which relies on local fundraising for the majority of its funding.
Here at Wave Community Bank, we are confident that our staff financial wellbeing scheme will assist Martlets staff through the current economic climate. Our ethical loans and super-easy saving scheme are designed to help staff become savers rather than borrowers, building financial resilience.
Judi Gumbrell, Payroll and Pensions Manager at Martlets told us that “Martlets has chosen to set up a Chorus savings scheme for employees to offer a potential way for them to reduce some of the stress around managing finances in a time when many people are feeling the pressure caused by external factors. The scheme is easy for us to implement and offers great features that staff might benefit from, as well as being a non-profit, ethical way to save or borrow. We are delighted to be working with Wave Community Bank to introduce the Chorus scheme in our workplace.”
We are committed to all of our employer partners and are always happy to explore new partnerships to help with staff retention, recruitment, and financial stress. Get in touch with us to make sure your staff receive the same benefits!
