We have received reports of members in a Northern Ireland credit union receiving SMS messages purporting to be from the Credit Union.
The SMS message contains a link which the member is asked to follow.
This takes the member to a website that requests information from the member including his Online Banking credentials.
Here are some examples of the types of SMS that we have seen.
Please exercise caution at this time and DO NOT click on any links or provide any personal information as Credit Unions do not send these type of SMS messages.
